The 1927 Yankees squad posed a dynamite roster, filled with seven eventual Hall of Famers including manager, Miller Huggins. Offered here is perhaps an actual game ball from the 1927 World Series. Cited in an unknown hand is "WORLD SERIES 1927" on a side panel of this Official American League Ball (Ban Johnson). The ball is in very good condition and does exhibit game used qualities. The 1927 Yankees constitute one of the most highly prized and sought after teams known in the vintage baseball memorabilia realm. Whether it be a signed baseball or a collection of cut signatures, few can say they own a memento from the team who was known as Murderers' Row.

The following players have autographed the ball: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Miller Huggins, Tony Lazzeri, Mike Gazella, Myles Thomas, Ben Paschal, Bob Shawkey and the key signature of Joe Giard. The inclusion of pitcher Joe Giard precisely indicates the 1927 vintage of this team ball. All said, this is a fantastic team signed ball from perhaps the greatest company of players ever - the 1927 New York Yankees. Signatures range from '1-6' in stature, and as good fortune would have it, the Ruth and Gehrig pennings are the stand-outs. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication(JSA).
