Our consignor's mother, Mrs. Loretta Roth(Watt), owned cigar stands inside the distinguished Ryan and St. Paul hotels in the Minneapolis area. She befriended Grace Comiskey(daughter in-law to Charles), and due to her love and knowledge of baseball, was given "all access" to players of the time.
