Walter Johnson Autographed, Single Signed Baseball.
A Sunshine State native, born in the small town of Humboldt Kansas, Walter Johnson embarked on a career in baseball that few have matched. His adolescent days in the farm fields payed dividends as he grew into his stout 6'1" frame. Widely considered as the most dominant right handed pitcher of all time, heck, even Ty Cobb has been quoted, saying his fastball "made me flinch." With 417 wins and a thoroughly dominant 2.17 career ERA, Johnson gave the Washington Senators everything he owned during his 21 seasons.
We are proud to offer this incredible, single-signed 'Pennant' baseball by Johnson. Most collectors are missing a Johnson single in their arsenal. Here is that opportunity to fill the void - these do not come up often. The ball is tan in color, in excellent condition with appropriate age toning and some minor wear. The "Big Train" placed his signature very neatly on the sweet spot in fountain tip pen, '7' in strength.
Overall, this is one of the best Johnson single-signed balls to surface in recent time and one that cannot be overlooked.
Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
