Certainly a prized item from the Shane Mack Find, this Yomiuri Giants number 12 uniform is a "must have" for any serious collector. It is highly uncommon to find Japanese game used memorabilia in the marketplace, and this piece is no exception.

This uniform was made by Descente and is tagged on the inside tail, 'Descente Professional '96 E62055 12' with additional Japanese characters. This is a white home jersey with black and orange sewn on numbers and letters on the front and back. Additionally, you will find a stitched 'Challenge '96' character on the right sleeve and YOMIURI on the left sleeve.

Unbelievable item from the 1996 season in which Mack helped lead the Giants to the Japan World Series, albeit loosing to Ichiro's Blue Wave in 5 games.

We are also including the pants that accompany this jersey. The game worn pants from Mack show fantastic wear and are also Descente brand with the appropriate tagging inside the waistline - see images below. The tagging inside the pants is marked '95 12' so they are from the 1995 season. While not an exact year match, they make a complimentary pairing to the '96 jersey.

This collection of items consist of autographs, game used equipment and other related memorabilia that was personally owned by former major league outfielder, Shane Mack. This collection of items in our Spring 2012 auction features an array of pieces spanning from his rookie year in 1987, through the end of his career in 1998 with the Kansas City Royals. Included in this fantastic collection of sports memorabilia are items from Mack's time in Japan, c.1995-1996, while playing with the Yomiuri Giants. All these items were personally owned by Shane Mack. Each item is absolutely guaranteed to be authentic for life.
