Here is our second 1984 Olympic jersey in the auction worn by Shane. This red away jersey features white and blue lettering. The big difference between this jersey and the home version we are offering is this one was not actually worn during the games. Due to a rule which prohibited any kind of commercial publicity on team uniforms, we know that this jersey did not make it to the games because the GE USA patch still resides on the right shoulder.

However, Mack did wear this jersey during the pre-Olympic tour and just might have had this one on for his 1985 Topps card! (Card not included with this sale)

All appropriate tagging is present including Rawlings tag on the front, size 44. Rawlings and Baseball USA patch on the left shoulder. Letters and numbers are sewn on the uniform.

This lot comes from the 'Shane Mack Find.' This collection of items consist of autographs, game used equipment and other related memorabilia that was personally owned by former major league outfielder, Shane Mack. This collection of items in our Spring 2012 auction features an array of pieces spanning from his rookie year in 1987, through the end of his career in 1998 with the Kansas City Royals. Included in this fantastic collection of sports memorabilia are items from Mack's time in Japan, c.1995-1996, while playing with the Yomiuri Giants.
