Negro Leagues Horace Garner Single Signed Baseball & Latin Milwaukee Brave Felix Mantilla Single Signed Baseball

1953 was a special year for the Jacksonville Braves of the Sally League. Along with future Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, Horace Garner and Felix Mantilla broke the color barrier by playing with the Class A Jacksonville Braves. Presented are two single signed baseballs by Mantilla who signed an Official League ball and Horace Garner on an Official American League (Brown) sphere. Of the two, Garner is certainly the more difficult to obtain as he participated in few signings and passed in 1995. Due to his affiliation with the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro Leagues, he is highly sought after by collectors. Balls are in nr-mt - mint condition and retain very strong signatures.

Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from former major league baseball player, Bob Botz. Guaranteed to pass PSA/DNA or James Spence Authentication.
