Bob Botz First Game Ball, c. 1955, Eau Claire Braves & 1961 Louisville Colonels Game Used Bat, & 1959 South Atlantic League All Star Game Travel Clock

 

Wonderful assortment of items here from the Bob Botz memorabilia collection.

Offered is his 1959 travel clock which was awarded to Bob for his great play during the 1959 season. The clock is a Hampden brand and in near mind condition. "South Atlantic League All Star Game 1959" is embroidered on the outside part of the clock.

The two key items in this lot are Bob's "First Win" game ball as a professional ballplayer in 1955. Written on the ball is as follows, "May 15 1955 Eau Claire Bob's First Professional Win 5 Hitter 7 Strikeouts." The baseball is in fair-excellent condition and shows appropriate game used qualities. Finally, the winning bidder will receive a game used bat from the 1961 season with Triple A Louisville Colonels. The bat is in excellent condition with no cracks.

 

Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from former major league baseball player, Bob Botz.
