This lot features two American League rivals of the day in 1943 - The New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians. Both baseballs are Official American League(Harridge) and have been shellacked by the original owner who obtained these signatures in-person.

1943 Yankees: Joe Gordon, Nick Etten, Rollie Hensley, Tuck Stainback, Bud Methany, Tommy Byrne, John Lindell, and several others which cannot be made out; signatures range from '1-6.'; ball shows a good amount of handling in overall good condition.

1942-43 Indians and others: Lou Boudreau(HOF), Rusty Peters, George Susce, Otto Denning, Red Embree, Ray Mack, Jim Bagby, Al Smith, Les Fleming, Bill Summers, Geo Pipgras(umpire), Al Schacht(The clown prince of baseball!), and more!

The first three images below show the Yankees ball to the left and the Indians ball to the right. The final image shows the Indians ball only.

This lot is guaranteed to pass PSA/DNA or JSA Authentication.
