Akin to our Wagner postcard in the previous lot, here we find a full size AZO postcard of Cornelius McGillicuddy, Sr., or Connie Mack as you may know him. Autographed in jet black fountain pen, Mack has signed this similar ©F.D.C. 1939 real photo postcard beneath his HOF plaque. Just below the signature of Connie Mack, our consignor's father dated this special day, 'March 4 - 1940.' Inducted in 1937, only the second year of the Hall of Fame's early beginning, Mack received his much deserved recognition. Connie Mack signed HOF postcards are nearly non-existent as just a few have sold via major auctions over the last decade. Here is a great opportunity to acquire one of, if not the earliest example known. Very strong, fluid signature of Mack rating a '9' or higher; postcard is in excellent condition with just minor corner wear and a mostly clean reverse. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication(JSA).
