Roger Maris Autographed Postcard | c. 1957 Rookie Year Signed Postcard | JSA/Beckett Slabbed

The Yankees found a gem in December of 1959 when they traded for Roger Maris. In the years to follow, Maris delivered on the field and was a part of multiple Word Series Championships in 1960 and 1961.

This postcard, however, takes us to Roger's first season in the major leagues with the Cleveland Indians in 1957. Who knew that just a few years after this photo was taken, Maris would beat out Yankee legend Mickey Mantle for the most home runs in a single season. This is a great opportunity to pick up an early Maris signature before his rise to stardom during that 1961 season. The postcard is in excellent condition and does have a pin hole at the top. Maris signed the postcard eloquently in blue ballpoint pen.

Both the postcard and signaure have been graded by JSA as 1.5/Fair and 7 accordingly
