Here we have eight more signatures of the 1927 New York Yankees squad including George Pipgras, Pat Collins, Bob Meusel, Miller Huggins(HOF), Ben Paschal, Ray Morehart, Cedric Durst, and Mark Koenig(New York Yankees 1927 in his hand). The signatures on 3 seperate sheets, two are approx. 5" x 7.5" and the Koening is by himself measuring approx. 2" x 5."

An illustrious group of players from the greatest baseball team of all time - the '27 Yankees. If you've thought of beginning a journey to collect the entire '27 team, this might be a great lot to start with. Mixed with some relatively easier signatures to acquire(i.e. Koenig, Paschal and Pipgras) we find one that is quite a challenge. Miller Huggins directed the Yankees to multiple World Championships but none are held in as high regard as the 1927 campaign. His signature is very rare and when found, is typically on documents or checks. Without hesitation, this Miller Huggins autograph is one of the best we've seen brought to light over the last decade; '9-10' in strength. It may be years until another Huggins of this quality surfaces again. The rest of the signatures are equally as strong ranging from '8-10.' . Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication(JSA).

The Roth Collection consists of a large collection of baseball signatures from 1925-1929. Our consignor's mother, Mrs. Loretta Roth(Watt), owned cigar stands inside the distinguished Ryan and St. Paul hotels in the Minneapolis area. She befriended Grace Comiskey(daughter in-law to Charles), and due to her love and knowledge of baseball, was given "all access" to players of the time. We are proud to offer this amazing find with some simply remarkable signatures including Ruth, Cobb, Johnson, Alexander, and so many more!
