1923 New York Yankees Team Autographed Baseball.

With 98 wins during the regular season, the Yankees were poised to finish off well. After subsequent World Series defeats in 1921 and 1922, they claimed victory over the New York Giants in six games.

While most baseball enthusiasts would agree that Ruth's greatest season came in 1927, the purist might have a disagreement - the 1923 season might just have been his finest. Ruth captured the American League Most Valuable Player Award with a whopping on base percentage of .545 and 41 homeruns. He also hit for the highest average that year with a .393 BA.

Stats aside, the Yankees were World Champions in the first year at 'The House that Ruth Built', otherwise known as the famous Yankee stadium. This Official American League sphere, c.1920-24 (Ban Johnson President) finds itself in poor to fair condition. With much love received over the years, a hanging hook for display purposes and plenty of shellac for two or three balls, one may be able to find another in better condition. That is, if you can even locate another 1923 team signed ball. Other signers include Hoyt (HOF), Pennock (HOF), Mays, Henricks, Scott, Meusel, Dugan, and ten more.

Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
