With a name so influential, and the reverent force induced from his bat feared by opposing pitchers across the league, the Yankees deemed him worthy of constructing a new stadium that was nicknamed, "The House that Ruth Built." While it may no longer be standing, the man behind the name will be remembered forever. Offered is a red and blue laced 'League' ball in excellent condition with consistent age-induced wear. The signature of Ruth resides on the sweet spot as usual, in blue fountain tip pen, and somewhat light, rating '4' or better. A great collector ball for someone who needs a Ruth single for their collection. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication(JSA).
