For your consideration is this very fine ALS(A Letter Signed) by Sam "Wahoo" Crawford, member of the Hall of Fame and a memorable Dead Ball Era player. While Crawford was considered to be one of the best hitters of his time, his off-field countenance was also noticed. Detroit Tigers owner Frank Navin once wrote, "He has always been a gentleman on and off the field. Navin also said, "...is a man of most exemplary habits, remarkable disposition, and is an example that it would be well for any man in any profession to follow."
The letter from Mr. Crawford tells the admirer about his recent trip to Kansas City in 1957 where he and twelve other HOF'ers gathered to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Not just any letter, but one from the year of his Hall of Fame induction!! The letter is in excellent condition with your typical mailing folds. The writing and signature penned by Crawford is Mint. Accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication(JSA).
