His finest season came in 1934 in which he amassed over 300 innings pitched, a 2.66 ERA, and winning 30, yes thirty, ballgames. That was perhaps one of the finest seasons ever for any pitcher to play the game. This piece comes directly from the consignor himself who received this special relic as young boy in Mississippi; c.early 1960's. One of the best single signed Dean balls we've seen over the past couple of years that has come to auction, this ball has been strictly graded by PSA/DNA an EX/MT 6 overall (Ball:6, Auto:6).
