We could not be more thrilled to present you with such an incredible keepsake. In Florida, during the Spring of 1928, a young boy collected signatures from some of his favorite ballplayers. 1928 proved to be a special year for many who signed this book as the Yankees dominated again in the postseason, winning the World Series in four straight games. Those memories are presented here in a collection of over thirty autographs which reside in this vintage 'Autograph' book with each page being dated from 3/13/28 to 3/27/28. This lot comes directly from the family of the young boy who was privileged enough to obtain all of these signatures. As you open the book, you will find one of the finest 20th century team signed album pages imaginable. Five Hall of Famers including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, manager Miller Huggins, Herb Pennock, and Tony Lazzeri are all beautifully scripted in fountain pen. Additional 1928 Yankees signatures include Pat Collins, Al Shealy, Bob Meusel, Hank Johnson, Joe Dugan, Wally Pipp, Stan Coveleski(HOF), Waite Hoyt(HOF), et. al. More HOF signatures abound throughout the book including Rogers Hornsby, Goose Goslin, Sam Rice, Tris Speaker, and Al Simmons. As visible in the images below, the blue and black fountain pen signatures are as vivid today as the day when they were signed over eighty years ago.

All told, this is an item of incredible provenance and in remarkably fine condition. You will be challenged to find another relic of similar distinction. Accompanied by a full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
