1986 New York Mets World Series Team Signed Baseball | Gorgeous Ball JSA LOA

The Mets celebrated their 25th anniversary in style by winning the World Series against the Boston Red Sox. "The Curse of the Bambino" was alive and well that year as the Sox were on the brink of winning the championship until that infamous play in Game 6 rolled the momentum over to the Mets. The New York squad eventually won the series in seven games on the back of many superstars including Gooden, Carter, Wilson, Hernandez and more.

This Official National League ball has been autographed by 28 members of the 1986 New York Mets World Series team. Some of those autographs include: Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez, Mookie Wilson, Mel Stottlemyre, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden and more.

The ball is in near mint condition and shows very minor toning. The autographs are extraordinary and all rate '9-10' in strength.

Our consignor received this ball while in the lockerroom with the '86 Mets team and his friend, and Mets team scout, Darrel Johnson.

Accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity (LOA) from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
