Joe Hauser Autographed Baseball, 1961 Minor League Louisville Colonels Team Signed Ball & 1970 Oakland A's Team Signed Ball
Joe Hauser (d.1997), born on the cusp of the 20th century, first began his professional baseball career in 1918 with Providence and later arrived to the big leagues with the Philadelphia Athletics. After his major league career was over, he was relegated to several minor league teams throughout the 30's and early 1940's. Not before finishing his career at the age of 43, Hauser dominated the minors from 1930-1936, amassing over 300 homeruns during that span. In fact, in two of those years (1930, 1936) he hit an impressive 63 and 69 homeruns respectively. Hauser has placed a gem mint signature on this Official American League (Brown) ball along with Ray Burress on the North panel. Ball is in nrmt-mint condition.
The other two baseballs which accompany this lot include a 1961 Louisville Colonels team signed ball with Bob Botz and other players, and a 1970 Oakland A's team signed ball. The Colonels ball is a Wilson brand from the American Association, and includes twenty-even (27) signatures. The '70 A's ball has twenty-one (21) autographs with some clubhouse signatures including Jackson and perhaps Hunter as well.
Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from former major league baseball player, Bob Botz. Guaranteed to pass PSA/DNA or James Spence Authentication.
