A classic image of "Babe" Ruth is on display of this 1921 baseball card produced by the American Caramel Co. (E121 designation) of Lancaster and York, PA. At initial glance, and even under extensive review, this card appears to be a minimum of EX(5) and a candidate for EX-MT(6). However, a final audit reveals a minute amount of paper loss present on the right edge. Otherwise, this card has a shot at the top of the SGC registry. All said, only one other grades at the same tier of 40/3 VG, and we cannot imagine that it can compare to this copy. This lot is part of a collection of 1921 American Caramel cards which are fresh to the hobby. Imperial Sports Auctions is proud to offer this group of cards to you at auction for the very first time.
